BREANNE SINIBALDI

Connecting the dots between my marketing / design education and customer service / sales work experience.

Welcome

HELLO & WELCOME

My name is Breanne Sinibaldi. I’m currently a student at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, ON in my final semester of Business Administration Marketing. I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, ON or “The Soo” as it is more commonly known in the North, so……I went to “camp,” ate square pizza slices and The Station Mall was “The Centre Of It All.” Though I’ve fallen in love with Southern Ontario and Kingston, I’ll never forget where I came from. (I just wish it wasn’t so far away to visit!)

My career goal is to be revolutionary………to bring strategic and creative ideas to every project I tackle. I’m passionately obsessive. When I put my mind to something I do everything in my power to achieve that goal. I have a natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge however, after 3 diplomas; I think I’ll take a break from structured education for a while.

With 4 months until graduation I’m on the hunt for the perfect opportunity to utilize my passion for all things marketing.

Strategy

My Marketing Philosophy

To meet and exceed the needs of my employer/clients through clever strategies, professionalism and creative communication.

With each new project, I start by asking myself the basics… “who, what, where, when, why & how.” With a strong understanding of human nature, I continually seek strategies to engage a target audience in ways that are relevant to them, the product/service and the client. It’s a balancing act and a challenge that I love to take on.

I’m an excellent problem solver. Like a modern day (female) MacGyver of marketing, I utilize my creativity, leadership, and communication skills to create solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems. (You can thank my parents for buying me these books as a child because I’m positive this is where it all began.)

Examples of my Work

I AM DETERMINED. I AM DRIVEN. I AM INSPIRED.

Creative

My creative outlet is branding.

I love the process of creating or improving a business’s brand. It’s about the entire client and customer experience; both on and offline. Companies need to decide what is and is not representative of their brand and stick to it! All branding should reflect the overall desired brand image and be CONSISTENT.

It’s about establishing an identity that will resonate with the target audience; choosing colours, fonts and imagery that clearly defines the business and the product or service offered. It’s knowing every detail about the target audience and providing the appropriate level of service. When working with clients, I methodically analyze the customer experience and look for ways to improve from a marketing perspective not only through creative visuals, but processes that are practical.

Online Presence

When working with clients there is no one single component that makes a brand successful. However, with a strategic package of elements, executed properly and consistently, brands have the greatest opportunity for success. Part of building brand awareness is through an online presence.

I’ve worked with clients to assist in:

      • Social media content strategy, training & monitoring
      • Email marketing
      • Basic web design (HTML & CSS)

I love my college! (Video)

I’m a YouTube sensation …. hardly! But, I do love my college so I was honoured to be asked by St. Lawrence College to speak on my experience with the Vanier BDC Case Challenge (read more about my experience here) and overall learning at SLC. I’ve never been interviewed on camera before so this was [...]

Vanier BDC Case Competition Experience

Where do I begin … this was one of the most intense, amazing, stressful, exciting and anxiety inducing experiences of my life. But, it was all completely worth it for this: My incredible teammates (Brooke Jibb and David Harnden), professor (Keith Tuckwell) and I travelled to Montreal this past weekend to compete in the Vanier [...]

Brand vs. Branding

‘Brand’ vs. ‘Branding’ … Do you know the difference? They are often confused as one in the same. My design side screams ‘it’s all about the LOGO!’ Meanwhile my marketing side yells back “No, it’s about the TARGET AUDIENCE!” Now, now we can all work together. You’re both wrong! Here is a simple guide to [...]

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME

    • I’m one of those “I don’t drink coffee, but I’ll have a tea” people. (I somehow managed to avoid the temptation despite courses that required long nights and early mornings). However, I’m not a tea snob, just give me a bag of anything and some hot water and I’m happy. I know, I know ‘tea leaves are better’ but who has time or room to carry all that s@%& around?
    • From where I’m sitting in my living room I can see 7 owl related objects … I think I’m developing a small obsession
    • I have yet to take my husbands last name. (Having a hard time changing from Sinibaldi (only a few of us in Canada) to Johnson, the most common name EVER!! (The battle continues…)
    • I hate ‘dark pop’ (No Coke, no Pepsi, no Grape … I’ll entertain a Root Beer, but only if I’m at A&W and it comes in a big glass mug)
    • I may or may not have seen Celine Dion in concert…twice. Don’t judge me! She has the voice of an angel! ;)
    • Oh wait spotted another one … 8 owls
